Ian is Co-principal of BTR Co – bringing 30+ years of real estate investment banking and funds management experience, including more recently, eight years of dedicated BTR experience.
Before establishing BTR Co and a separate BTR advisory business, GAA-AUS in 2018, Ian completed an exclusive advisory role to establish the GFM-IML platform for the HOME Trust, secure an AFSL, hold the RM status, and raise $425m equity from a sovereign fund. As former Chair of GFM-IML, Ian was involved with the first site acquisition in Melbourne for the Southbank BTR development.

Having spent more than six years in the United States overseeing the operations of up to 20,000 unit multifamily, PBSA, co-living and single-family portfolios, he returned to Australia in 2018 to lead the establishment and launch of LIV | Mirvac, Australia’s first operating build to rent OpCo and PropCo.
Andrew has consistently delivered a solid brand and customer experience throughout his career to maximise revenue opportunities across numerous businesses. He brings a unique, clear and forward-thinking approach to the living sector in Australia that adds exceptional long-term value to drive growth, scale and profitability.
He has held senior leadership roles with Toga, CLV and CA Ventures.

Mark has extensive property industry experience and has been involved in Real Estate Funds Management for over 25 years. He was previously Managing Director, Head of DB Real Estate Australia, where he managed more than $10 billion in property funds and sat on the Global Executive Committee for Deutsche Bank Real Estate and RREEF. Mark was also a Director in the Property Investment Banking division of Macquarie and was involved in listing the previous Macquarie Office Fund. His previous directorships include Comrealty Limited, Property Council of Australia, Deutsche Asset Management Australia and he was also Chair of Cbus Property Pty Limited and South East Asia Property Company. Mark previously held senior roles with Price Waterhouse and Macquarie Bank.
